    To answer your question, it was actually a park in Queens, not Brooklyn. Fort Tilden Beach. You should check it out when you have the chance!

    Ting- Thanks! Would love to take Kit and Betsy there. Beach looks deserted in your photos! Did you take them out during the morning? Perhaps at a time when there were no people?

    Jules & Ron - Just got back from my Peruvian adventure yesterday! And yes, took loads of pictures. Between me and my aunt, we have over a thousand shots. Stereotypical Asian tourists? Yes, I'm afraid we are.

    Fort Tilden is a former army base - we went on a weekday, I don't think it ever gets as crowded as the other NY beaches.
