Oh my goodness! Bowdu was FREAKING out the other night when a large, buzzing black fly invaded the home. Worst, it dive-bombed him during his Epsom salt foot soak, and ended up drowning in the bathwater. He started shaking uncontrollably. It was strange.
ReplyDeleteMaybe there's some sonic frequency to buzzing fly wings that strikes terror in shiba hearts, but can't be perceived by humans?
And I thought that Akira was the only one silly enough to be affraid of flies!
ReplyDeleteLOL Very funny cartoon and LOVED the last line. LOL My Miko is also afraid of flies. We had one buzzing around the dining room and Miko was trying her hardest to get into my lap! She also doesn't like anything buzzing around her when she is trying to get her business done.
ReplyDeleteThe thing that kills me is that she doesn't seem to be afraid of things that can actually bite or sting. One day a big black horse fly was buzzing around in the grass and she was all over that. LOL And I have also caught her nosing around in the grass and one time it was a honey bee and the other time it was a bumble bee. The bumble bee actually crawled onto her nose, but she was able to shake it off.
awesome!!!
ReplyDeletewow that's interesting. i don't want to add to my pup's list of things to be afraid of, but i'm really tempted to see how he'd react to a fly now...
ReplyDeletebuda flips out too with flies...she never wants to stay where theres flies~
ReplyDeleteKitsune is the most awesome of awesome fly catchers. A fly does not stand a chance in our house. Then again, neither does anything that can be knocked over in the chase..
ReplyDeletePoor bets! Just remember, you're a trillion times bigger than them!
ReplyDeleteLike Miko, my shiba is petrified of flies...but bees and wasps don't bother him...
